Welcome to the personal page of my blog!
I think everyone can understand when life gets stressful, we sometimes forget about the things we love…like blogging.
I’m want to blog a bunch over the break (Update (2/15): whoops), because eventually I will finish the 3rd season of American Horror Story and I will need something to take up the other three weeks and six days of break. To the left you see Mom and I taking a Christmas shopping break on a bedding display at Macy's. Black Friday at 2 in the morning got the best of us. (Starbucks coffee not pictured).
Over these past few weeks, I’ve been wrapping up my first semester of junior year, and it’s been cray. But I am finally home for (drumroll) FOUR WEEKS to spend some quality time with the greatest parents in the world, Beth and Dave, with my little brother, Kevin, and with my best friend/partner in crime, Maggie. And if we are being honest, I’m really excited about eating food that I don’t have to cook.
I am so happy to be done with tests and essays, and to be at the point where I can relax and binge-watch Christmas movies.
So far on my break, I have discovered a new love for yoga (shout out to Southtown Yoga in St. Louis, MO). I am a fan of any type of workout that doesn’t require running, elevated heart rates, or really anything that requires a lot of movement. And yoga happens to be that workout! I left more energized and happier. Try it, you won’t regret it.
I have also been Christmas shopping like a maniac. Mainly, I have been aiding my mom in picking out gifts for my two brothers who are impossible to shop for, but I’ve also picked up a few presents for some close family and friends, including a few sneaky gifts for myself. What is Christmas if you don’t spoil yourself a little?
I hope everyone is having an amazing holiday so far!
