1. Vampire
For this look, you will need: some extremely pale foundation, light blue eye shadow (for veins), black and red lipsticks, and a good YouTube tutorial on a smokey eye. You can make a costume out of black and red. Cape and fangs optional.
2. Cat
This is probably the easiest one on the list. All you will need is: black eyeliner, brown eyeliner, and black eye shadow. You can just draw on a nose, a line connecting the bottom of your nose to the center of your cupid’s bow, and whiskers on each side of that line. For the eyes, you can wing your eyeliner, then bring it to a point in the inner corner of your eye. You can make cat ears out of black construction paper, and a headband from the dollar store.
3. Amy Farrah Fowler
I have a slight (actually really unhealthy) love for The Big Bang Theory. And this makeup look is by far my favorite of the bunch. It’s a bit more challenging because it requires contouring. You’re going to need: a medium/tan foundation, and brown eye shadow. Use a reference picture of Mayim Bialik, the actress who plays Amy, to contour your features to look more like hers. You can make her costume out of a button down shirt, a vest or cardigan, kaki skirt, and loafers. Also add glasses for the full effect. This costume has a few more parts to it, but it is so worth it.
4. Masquerade
For this one, you will need black gel eyeliner. Draw a symmetrical shape around the upper portion of your face, add circles around your eyes, then squiggle between the lines until you heart’s content.
5. Alien
This is one I recently did for a photo shoot. For the skin, you will need to paint yourself blue (I used light blue Mehron Paradise Paint), and then contour your features with a medium-blue eye shadow. I also used a temporary colored hair spray to make her hair pink, and mixed pink lipstick and eye shadow to color her eyebrows. For the costume, the model was wearing a pop-art bodycon dress from Body Central. You can wear whatever makes you feel like an alien, tin foil and all.
6. Skeleton
This makeup look was another I created for the Halloween shoot. All you will need is: black eyeliner, black lipstick, and black eye shadow. Follow a reference photo. Trace with the eyeliner, fill with the lipstick, and set everything with the black eye shadow.
